Privacy Policy

The Lantern Book is a sticker-decorating app for children and families, made by Skye Press ("we"). We built it to collect nothing about you or your child.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking. It doesn't ask for names, emails, locations, or any other personal information.

What stays on your device

The scenes you decorate and your settings (like sound on or off) are saved only on your iPad. We can't see them. Deleting the app deletes them.

Photos

If you tap the camera button, the app saves a picture of your scene to your Photos. It asks your permission first. It only adds pictures. It doesn't look at or upload anything in your photo library.

Purchases

The Lantern Book may offer optional add-ons, such as new seasons or storybooks. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your name, payment details, or Apple ID. Apple tells the app only which add-ons your family owns, so they can be unlocked and restored. Purchase screens sit behind a parent check, and add-ons work with Family Sharing.

Children's privacy

Because we don't collect personal information from anyone, we don't collect it from children under 13. Settings meant for grown-ups sit behind a parent check.

Information from Apple

If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may send us general, anonymous information such as crash reports and download counts. This never identifies you or your child.

This website

This website doesn't use cookies, analytics, or tracking either. Like any website host, GitHub, which serves these pages, may keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the site running and secure.

Changes

If this ever changes, we'll update this page and the date above before the app changes.
